The Inclusion Practice is dedicated to building a world where all employees can go to work as their authentic selves and build the equitable products that change the world. By prioritizing inclusion you are working to create an environment that welcomes and inspires people from diverse backgrounds to share their most innovative ideas. 
 

We work to meet companies and organizations where they are in their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) journeys. We lead with empathy and understanding, and moves at the speed of trust. The Inclusion Practice begins every project by asking clients what they want to learn or achieve, and then together we work to develop and implement a customized approach that meets the needs of the organization.

the founder

Nico Calvo Rosenstone is a globally recognized diversity, equity, and inclusion leader. He is the founder and CEO of The Inclusion Practice, LLC, a firm that advises organizations on creating diverse and inclusive workplaces where people feel inspired and safe to show up as their authentic selves. Nico has worked with leading companies including LinkedIn, Twitter, Airbnb, and Amazon. He is also a capacity coach for the Transgender Strategy Center. Prior to his work in the diversity, equity, and inclusion sector, Nico led digital communications for the Haas, Jr. Fund in San Francisco, one of the nation's largest funders for LGBTQ+ rights. Nico has also led work in recruitment and retention for HIV clinical research at Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. 

 

Nico previously co-chaired Horizons Young Professionals for Equality (HYPE), uniting emerging LGBTQ+ leaders in the Bay Area through grant making. He was a 2018 Grantmakers United for Trans Communities (GUTC) Fellow. His work has been published in journals including Stanford Social Innovation Review and the Chronicle of Philanthropy.
